Returning to the Turks and Caicos Islands.
We have done this couples engagement shoot, a family photo shoot and their wedding. Their amazing wedding was in Bora Bora, a small South Pacific Island about 8 years ago and absolutely gorgeous. This year we are happy to see the Higgins family back on our Caribbean island and we are sure we will see them more often.
We started the photo session in the beautiful Palms Resort. The courtyard at the Palms and the Spa are such a unique backdrop. Love the mirror where we thought it would be funny to keep the original photograph in and the adjusted one. Can a photographer photo bomb a family photo, apparently so.
We made our way to Blue Hills with the dock out in the turquoise ocean. A bit windy and wavy on that side of Providenciales. As usual the only person not paying too much attention to the waves, yes the photographer, got whacked by a nice wave coming in.
Victoria their daughter is a ballerina and we loved to take some photos with her. Being a ballerina is not easy, lots of determination and discipline. Not to mention the impact on your feet.
We ended up on the beach in Taylor Bay around 930 am. Normally not such a good time for a photo shoot. It is very bright and gets hot. Saying that. The colors of the ocean are amazing and so worth it. No photo shopping was done to the colors. To get photos taken at this time you will have to keep the family photo shoot a bit more casual with sunglasses since the light at that time is harsh on the eyes.
What a fun tour around the island with all of you. David was a bit sad not being able to meet with you but looking forward to seeing you all again. Robert happy birthday from all of us at Brilliant Studios.
