Fresh from saying “I do,” Jared and Julia Mazzola arrived in the Turks and Caicos Islands for their honeymoon — and little did they know, an unforgettable surprise awaited them.
As a thoughtful and incredibly generous gift, Jared’s mother arranged a private romantic photoshoot with Brilliant Studios Photography in South Caicos, giving the newlyweds a chance to celebrate their love in one of the most beautiful and untouched corners of the Caribbean.
Starting at Sailrock Resort
We began the session at the stunning Sailrock Resort, where luxury blends seamlessly with raw island beauty. The dramatic cliffs, turquoise waters, and open skies created a breathtaking backdrop as Jared and Julia relaxed into the moment.
Still glowing from their wedding, the couple moved naturally together — laughing, holding hands, and simply enjoying being newly married. The quiet serenity of South Caicos allowed their connection to truly shine without distraction.
Exploring the Island by Jeep
Wanting to capture more of the island’s authentic charm, we hopped into a Jeep and took a short drive around South Caicos.
Along the way, we encountered one of the island’s most beloved surprises — wild donkeys! 🫏
These gentle, curious animals made for an unexpectedly delightful moment in the shoot. Jared and Julia laughed as they watched them roam freely along the roadside, adding a playful and uniquely South Caicos touch to their honeymoon memories.
We stopped at a few scenic coastal viewpoints where the deep blue ocean stretched endlessly toward the horizon — perfect for intimate portraits that balanced romance with the rugged beauty of the landscape.
Cooling Off with a Fun Water Finale
After our island adventure, we returned to Sailrock Resort to wrap up the session in the best possible way — in the water!
Jared and Julia kicked off their shoes, waded into the crystal-clear sea, and let loose. The final images captured pure joy: splashes of water, carefree laughter, and the golden light dancing across the waves.
It was the perfect blend of romance, playfulness, and celebration — a true reflection of their new journey together as husband and wife.
