Turks and Caicos wedding at The Palms

Turks and Caicos sunset wedding

Kristen and Neil’s stunning Turks and Caicos wedding at The Palms was a very special wedding indeed. And not just for the bride, groom and their many guests. It was the last wedding we were able to capture before our beautiful islands went into lockdown for a while. But it’s memories and images like these that keep our spirits up during these challenging times. At Brilliant we love to show the wonderful connections between couples, families and friends through our images. Indeed, this poignant collection of joyful memories is the perfect example of what we do best.

A perfect day right from the start

Ocean breezes and turquoise vistas set the scene as the bride and her party got ready at The Sands resort. Meanwhile the groom and his men were donning their finery at Harbour Rock, a private villa overlooking Turtle Cove Marina. Both locations gave our photographers lots of opportunity to capture some lovely pre-wedding pictures. The lush, tropical gardens at the Sands were a particularly fitting backdrop to set off Kristen’s breathtaking gown. Many thoughtful touches accompanied the festivities and Kristen and Neil had considered every detail. The blue and lilac shades of all the outfits and flowers toned beautifully together, even down to the page boys’ gorgeous bow ties.

A spectacular ceremony

Our Lady of Divine Providence Roman Catholic Church in Providenciales was filled with guests for a truly touching ceremony officiated by Father Rafael. And an abundance of cute page boys and flower girls ably attended the couple’s exchange of vows. Smiles (and even the odd happy tear) were the order of the day as the couple’s friends and family lovingly witnessed the beginning of Neil and Kristen’s married life together.

A sunset stroll on the beach

After the ceremony, everyone headed to The Palms to toast the bride and groom and start the celebrations in earnest. First, we made sure we captured some photos of the bridal party looking out over the exquisite tropical gardens. Then it was cocktail hour on the deck. Once all the guests had a drink in hand, it was time for us to whisk the bride and groom away for some photos on the beach. The light was perfect for some really stunning, romantic shots. And the famous Turks and Caicos sunset didn’t let us down.

Dancing under the stars

Everyone knows that a spectacular wedding always culminates in a spectacular party. And Kristen and Neil’s wedding was definitely no exception. The croquet lawn at the Palms Spa made a beautiful spot for the celebrations. Awaiting the guests were tables adorned with striking lilac and ivory floral centre pieces. But no one was sitting down for long! Florida band ‘Be Easy’ got everyone up and dancing the night away on the outdoor dance floor. We’re sure you’ll agree that Kristen, Neil and their guests really celebrated in style.

Congratulations to Kristen and Neil. We are absolutely delighted they chose Brilliant Studios to capture their special day.
