Grace Bay Club Destination Wedding

We initially met Devon and Craig a few months prior to their Grace Bay Club Destination Wedding in Turks and Caicos. After a short meeting to talk through the details, and a quick engagement shoot, we knew right away that theirs was going to be a fantastic wedding to photograph.

A few months later we met once again, but this time for the main event. The day had finally arrived for us to capture their elegant beachfront wedding.

The guests

Devon and Craig’s guests flew in from the USA and the UK to celebrate the happy couple’s big day. And a big day it was – a large crowd gathered on the stunning white sands of Grace Bay beach to watch the couple exchange vows. Devon and Craig were surrounded by their closest friends and family. However, two very important members of the family were unable to take part in the big day. So the couple came up with a creative way to feature their beloved French bulldogs in some of their photos nonetheless! See if you can spot how they did it….

Before the ceremony

The bride and groom chose the luxurious Grace Bay Club resort to get ready with their respective parties. Every part of the magical day included thoughtful, personalised touches. And the pre-wedding preparations were no exception, of course.

The Ceremony

The romantic ceremony took place under an arbor of tropical foliage and flowers, just a few feet away from the turquoise Grace Bay waters. Devon’s exquisite dress was set off by a gorgeous veil that was perfect for catching the warm Caribbean breeze. And as the bridesmaids accompanied the bride to the beach to meet her dapper future husband, their golden dresses glittered in the Turks and Caicos sun.

The reception

After the couple had exchanged their vows, we stopped to capture some special moments with family and friends. Next, we moved to the Grace Bay Club Lounge where the couple held their cocktail party drinks reception.

Once everyone had a cocktail in hand, a traditional Junkanoo band made a grand entrance. Then they led the wedding party ‘island style’ to the Grace Bay Club Estate for the reception and dinner. Tasteful tablescapes and an abundance of tropical flowers and foliage created a breathtaking setting for a fun night of great food and plentiful cocktails. Following a delicious dinner, the celebrations continued with dancing under the stars. Indeed, the joyful tunes had everyone up on their feet and sharing in Devon and Craig’s newly wedded bliss.
