This was a very special Turks and Caicos family photoshoot for us. That is because it wasn’t the first time we had met Angela and Andrew Amendola. We first met this wonderful couple in May 2012 when we photographed their destination wedding at the Grace Bay Club Resort. So here we are, a few years later, photographing their family portrait session on the beach.
Where and Who With?
This time around, we took their photos at the beautiful Seven Stars Resort. We got to meet their two lovely children for the first time as well as Andrew’s parents again.
For the first part of the session we took some photos around the gardens of the Seven Stars. A little later on, when the sun is much lower in the sky, we headed onto the beach just in front of the resort.
This is a good time to be on the beach. The sunlight is not too bright and the air is a little cooler with the sea breeze. The beach is normally quite quiet at this time too. The kids had the freedom to run and play in the sand. And they had an awesome time doing just that!
Both Grandparents were having fun too as they had some beautiful shots with their grandchildren. They enjoyed watching them run and play near the edge of the water.
Finally, we took a couple of sunset shots of the whole family together. What a great memory to take with them from the Turks and Caicos.
We had a blast doing this Turks and Caicos family photoshoot. It was lovely to meet one again with Angela, Andrew and their family after shooting their wedding six years ago. We hope to see you here again one day, maybe next time with two teenagers!
