A few weeks ago I met with The Roots for a classic family photo shoot at Ocean Club West resort in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
The Roots are a lovely family of four with two fun and energetic young girls enjoying their family vacation in the Turks and Caicos sun.
I met the family at the Ocean Club resort lobby an hour before sunset. Rather than heading straight for the beach, we started taking photos in the beautiful resort gardens. As we made our way through the resort we stopped to take pictures at the water fountain and the hammock. The girls enjoyed lying and laughing on the hammock together!
At the Beach
When we got to the beach, I took some pictures of the girls walking and running and basically just having fun and enjoying themselves. They both had very natural smiles and were very easy to photograph. Check out the stunning smiles and curly hair in the photos below.
We walked a few minutes away from the resort to take some fun photos on the old dock on Grace Bay. This was built many years ago for a hotel called The Allegro and I quite often take photos here because the dock has great character now. It has withstood a lot of weather over the last 20 years, including the most recent strong winds of hurricanes Irma and Maria. However, pretty soon a high end resort will be going up on the beach front and sadly, my favorite dock may not be here for too much longer.
So, this hour-long classic family photo shoot at Ocean Club West resort ended at the old dock with a stunning sunset over Grace Bay.
