Shore Club Secret Proposal Turks and Caicos Islands.
Firstly, The Shore Club is an outstanding resort in Long Bay that really does take its guests to the next level of luxury. Secondly, I love to shoot a secret proposal. The look of disbelief mixed with shock and happiness is definitely something I like to capture on my camera. And thirdly, who doesn’t love the Turks and Caicos? With its stunning beaches, luxury resorts and year-round sunshine, it’s no wonder people want to come here to celebrate special events such as engagements, weddings and family vacations.
Well, a few weeks ago, Ted got in touch with us because he was planning to propose to his girlfriend Marisa at the Shore Club, Providenciales.
Soon after they arrived at the resort, Ted spent some time trying to find the perfect location to set his big plan in motion. After a few emails and tex messages back and forth, Ted finally decided that he would do it near the resort lobby. The plan was for me to pose as the ‘hotel photographer’ offering complimentary photos for couples staying at the resort.

So, for the best light for the photos, I was in the lobby an hour before sunset. As planned, along came Ted and Marisa and I introduced myself as the hotel photographer. After a couple of photos, Ted went down on one knee and absolutely took Marisa by surprise as he popped the question. The sequence of photos below shows just how unbelievably shocked, surprised and happy she was!
Of course, I was there to continue taking photos so we moved around the resort to get some lovely shots of the happy couple. This beautiful resort, located in Long Bay Providenciales, has some stunning architecture and beautiful gardens.
