Pierce and Cathryn wanted an intimate elopement in Providenciales Turks and Caicos. Having first looked at a few different islands in the Caribbean, they chose the Turks and Caicos for its natural beauty and clear turquoise waters.
They got in touch with Chrishell from Nila Destinations, a local wedding planning company, to help them plan for their special day.
Before the Day
I met with Pierce and Cathryn at the Windsong Resort a few days before the wedding to discuss the finer details of the day. They asked where I thought would be the best location for a small beach wedding. My answer? Without a doubt, Leeward Beach at the end of Grace Bay beach. This is a gorgeous spot to get married. It’s very quiet and relaxing and the surroundings are stunning. The perfect place for an intimate elopement in Providenciales Turks and Caicos.
On the Day
We started the shoot with a few photos on the balcony at the Windsong. The views of the ocean from there were not to be missed! After that, we made a stop at the old dock on Grace Bay beach on our way to Leeward. This is a favorite spot of mine to take wedding couples and families because it’s different yet fun. We also had time to fly the drone there and capture some unique shots of the dock from up above.
Our final stop on the journey was to meet with Pastor Sherlock Padmore on the beach at Leeward. Cathryn and Pierce became husband and wife just feet away from the warm turquoise water of the Caribbean. Some photos of the happy newlyweds as well as more cool drone shots before the sun began its descent made for a perfect end to a great day.
Congratulations, Cathryn and Pierce. I hope to see you back on the islands in the near future!
