A large number of the photo shoots we do at Brilliant Studios are normally taken on Grace Bay beach. However, Sydney and Kenneth wanted to have a more intimate destination wedding in Sapodilla Bay.
The first time we met with the bride and groom was a few days before their wedding day at their private villa at Sapodilla Bay. It was a very intimate Turks and Caicos destination wedding with only thirteen people.
It’s all about location…
Sapodilla Bay is well known for its shallow turquoise waters. It’s the perfect location to celebrate small group weddings.
On the wedding day, Sydney and Kenneth got ready in separate villas next door to each other. Their wedding ceremony took place on Sapodilla Bay beach just a few feet away from the calm waters that make this area so popular.
Scroll down to see the most beautiful wedding pergola you’ve ever seen. It’s so natural and has the most serene expanse of calm shallow water for the backdrop. A simply stunning wedding with the best view!
During their ceremony we were visited by an unexpected guest. A cheeky little island chicken decided to wander onto our beach space to take a look at what was going on. We have seen a lot of things during beach weddings but this certainly was a first!
After their ceremony and some sunset photos with family and friends, everyone moved back to Villa Blue Heaven for the wedding reception.
Small group…big party!
Even though it was as a small group of people, they were ready to party the night away. We even had long sparklers for some of our all time favorite photography. Check out the sparklers lighting up the image below as well as a few of our favorites from the Turks and Caicos destination wedding Sapodilla Bay.
