This romantic Ambergris Cay destination wedding was a real first for us at Brilliant Studios. In fact, it was one of the first weddings ever to take place on this exclusive, private island. And we feel so fortunate that Danielle and Adam chose us to be the Turks and Caicos wedding photographers to capture their exceptional day.
Unique Ambergris Cay
Originally, Danielle and Adam planned to hold their Turks and Caicos wedding at a boutique hotel from the Turks and Caicos Collection on the island of Providenciales. However, the new Covid-19 regulations led them instead to choose a Turks and Caicos elopement wedding on the luxury private island of Ambergris Cay. And what a wonderful decision it was! Indeed, their Ambergris Cay destination wedding was the most unique way possible to celebrate their marriage in the beautiful Turks and Caicos. Of course, Danielle and Adam are no strangers to luxurious surroundings. They are both realtors who sell luxury properties for a living. And Ambergris Cay ticked every box for their expert eyes!
Ambergris Cay sits southeast on the string of Turks and Caicos Islands. It was developed in the late 20th century to become a modern, exclusive destination for visitors looking for ‘rustic Caribbean charm’. Now part of the Turks and Caicos Collection, Ambergris Cay offers all-inclusive luxury in a truly private and secluded setting.
A real one-off
The bride and groom chose a romantic beachfront wedding for just the two of them. With amazing views over the Caicos Banks, the couple exchanged vows inside a heart made from conch shells laid on the white sands. And since Danielle and Paul’s wedding was one of the first on Ambergris Cay, it created a lot of excitement. Some of the Ambergris Cay private owners even came to wish the couple well as they began their married life together. And, of course, the best Turks and Caicos wedding photographers were there to record all the special moments.
It’s all about you
This was a day that was all about the bride and groom. It began with our happy couple getting ready for their ceremony at one of the private Ambergris Cay beach suites. Sweet, personalised touches were made all the more special with the intimacy of the occasion. And Danielle’s pink bougainvillea bouquet perfectly set off her stunning, ornately embroidered gown as she walked to meet her barefoot groom on the beach.
After the beautiful beach ceremony, there was time for the newlyweds to take a stroll along the beach together. In fact, they had the beach to themselves as they posed for photos against the perfect Turks and Caicos scenery. Then, we took our leave of our happy couple as they rode in style in their specially decorated golf cart back to their villa. As Danielle and Adam looked back on their day, it must have seemed like their elopement was a true escape to a private paradise. In the meantime, we got to travel home (along with Pastor Padmore) in the lap of luxury. While flying back to Providenciales in the Ambergris Cay private jet, we felt certain that being Turks and Caicos photographers really is best job in the world!
