When we talked to Brandon and Rebecca about their wedding day at the Grace Bay Club they asked me if they could do their Acro Yoga before the ceremony. We had heard of Acrobatics and Yoga before but Acro Yoga? Intrigued by it all we said we would love to document some Acro Yoga and researched a bit more about it.
Acroyoga (also written Acro-Yoga or Acro Yoga) is a physical practice which combines yoga and acrobatics
Acro Yoga may provide physical and mental health benefits. In addition to the exercise and strength building aspects of Acro Yoga the partner balancing can improve concentration and the massage elements can provide stress relief. However Acro Yoga is more vigorous than many traditional yoga practices and training is required.
Where else can we show this off then on the world famous Grace Bay Beach. Rebecca picked a white outfit especially for doing the Acro Yoga, because after all this was their wedding day too. Needless to say we are splitting up this day in two parts so the early afternoon the focus is on this beautiful come together of two bodies on the beach. By the way don’t try this at home without training and a spotter.
Stay tuned for some of their wedding photos a bit later on our blog.
