Brittany and Marcus were planning their dream destination wedding in the Turks & Caicos for the last week of September 2017. What the bride and groom didn’t know was that theirs would be the first destination wedding to take place after hurricane Irma passed over the islands on September 7th.
Their original plan was to get married at Beaches Turks & Caicos but unfortunately this hotel could no longer accommodate their wedding due to damage from the storm. That didn’t stop Brittany and Marcus from moving forward with their wedding plans and instead they choose the Seven Stars Resort on Grace Bay – an equally perfect location and venue for their event.
Everyone on island was very excited about this wedding. Brittany and Marcus had the chance to move their event to any other county after hurricane Irma hit the Turks & Caicos but instead they choose to stick with their plans and celebrate here thus supporting the local economy. This was such a great story that Brittany and Marcus’ wedding was featured in the New York Times wedding section.
Brittany and Marcus got married on the beach in front of the Seven Stars resort in Grace Bay on September 30th. They shared their day with family members and very close friends who came from all over the USA to celebrate with them and to party into the late hours of the night.
