We shoot a lot of weddings here on Providenciales but nothing beats the intimacy of a private villa wedding in the Turks and Caicos Islands. What a beautiful backdrop. A decorated arch with the ocean in the back. Check out the rum punches on an old vintage ladder, how original. The colors of the ocean and the rum punch go well together. Actually a rum punch in the Caribbean and the ocean are always a good match.
We have photographed Brooke’s younger sisters wedding here in the Turks and Caicos Islands and this time the wedding day was all Brooke’s and Joonghee’s. Joonghee has his roots in South Korea. Have a look at his mom’s colorful and traditional South Korean dress for the wedding day. Joonghee’s family came all the way from South Korea to celebrate their sons wedding day.
On the wedding day we had a little bit of rain for good luck before the ceremony. The rest of the day was perfect ending daylight with an amazing sunset on Taylor Bay beach.
Taylor Bay is found off the south coast of Providenciales, near Chalk Sound hand west of Sapodilla Bay. This scenic beach is only about 2000 feet (600 meter) long. Sheltered by the small Ocean Point peninsula from the regular southeast trade winds. The water is very shallow, calm and clear and consequently an excellent beach choice ranked as number 6 on TripAdvisor of things to do in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
This beach can be very interesting during very low tides as due to the very shallow water, large patches of sand with intricate patterns are exposed at times. Needless to say a mesmerizing back drop for a wedding.
Brooke and Joonghee many congratulations and see you back soon here in the islands.
Many thanks to:
