Vanessa and Eric’s destination wedding took place at The Palms Resort in the Turks and Caicos Islands. When planning for their wedding, Vanessa and Eric did not expect that theirs would be taking place just a few weeks after the islands were affected by hurricanes Irma and Maria. Fortunately, The Palms Resort was pretty quick to reopen after carrying out some minor repair work due to the damage caused so Vanessa and Eric were able to go ahead as planned with their event.
The wedding ceremony took place on Grace Bay beach just in front of their hotel. Some light rain at the beginning of the ceremony didn’t stop anyone from enjoying this celebration and the rainbows we had were a nice addition to the stormy skies.
The cocktail party and wedding reception took place under the stars on the pool deck at The Palms Resort, Turks and Caicos.
Anita and I had a blast capturing this wedding and working with the bride and groom and their wedding guests. We would like to thank everyone for choosing to stick with the Turks and Caicos and trusting that it would return to its former beauty after experiencing such a harsh and powerful hit by two hurricanes.
