Is there any better way to celebrate a Turks and Caicos birthday than with a private pony ride and photo shoot with Provo Ponies? Well that’s how Lindsay chose to spend her special day. And of course we were the Turks and Caicos photographers she asked to capture her incredible experience. What a great day we had hanging out in the ocean with these lovely ladies and their beautiful horses!
The best seats in the house
Lindsay and one of her best girlfriends were enjoying a wonderful vacation here in the Turks and Caicos. While they were here, they wanted to explore Providenciales’ white beaches and turquoise waters from the best possible vantage point. And as we all know, that means on horseback! Having booked a private ride with the fantastic Provo Ponies, they then contacted us to be their photographers for the adventure. We have lots of experience as Provo Ponies photographers, and we were only too happy to oblige.
Beautiful Long Bay
Before the ride, we met at the stables to discuss the type of photos Lindsay wanted from her portrait photo shoot. Then the ladies saddled up and we all headed out together. The route for the ride took us along nearby Long Bay beach. At Brilliant, we absolutely love doing Long Bay beach photo shoots. And unspoilt scenery and uncluttered vistas make it the perfect place to spend quality time with a four legged friend.
Ponies or ‘sea-horses’?
The weather in Long Bay was just perfect for our photo shoot with Provo Ponies. As you can see, the blue skies and fluffy white clouds made the perfect backdrop for some truly striking images. And the calm, clear waters meant we could capture some of our signature half-and-half underwater photos. Our Providenciales photographers are specialists in underwater split shots. And since these horses love the water as much as we do, they were happy to pose for our cameras!
Along for the ride
With Lindsay having some experience with horses, we could get creative with some stunning shots that captured her affinity for these majestic creatures. After getting some beautiful photos in the shallow waters, the ladies went on to enjoy their ride through the ocean. Then, as they made their way along the shore, they were astonished when a huge stingray joined them for the ride! This gentle, breathtaking creature got to feature in some photos of its own as it came for a closer look. We were even able to get some fantastic drone shots of the stingray swimming alongside the horses in the clear waters.
